Greetings in the name of Christ,

The holiday season is upon us, and the New Year is rapidly approaching. As we reflect on the work that the Lord has accomplished in 2019, we are filled with gratitude for all that He has done. Truly it is the hand of God that sustains us and gives us victory!

Last year, we celebrated our 60th anniversary and the amazing story of Paula Hardy, CCCD’s Deaf American founder who broke down barriers of inequality to serve as a Deaf missionary. We now embark on the next 60 years filled with hope and anticipation. If the past is any indication of what is to come, then I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the ministry.

As a parent of young children, I have been told time and again that raising my children “won’t get any easier, just different.” This seems to be the pattern of ministry as well! Though CCCD is now more established than 60 years ago, our eyes remain set on the Lord and His promise to guide us through every circumstance by His grace, strength, and provision.Abrianna Richards2.jpg

Your unwaving support of this ministry is nothing short of inspirational. You make it possible for us to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Deaf of Jamaica. Through CCCD the Deaf receive a language, education, vocational training, community access and more, but the value in all of that pales in comparison to the great gift of the Gospel. Thank you for helping us share this gift with Jamaica's Deaf children and adults like Abrianna and Donovan!

Abrianna Richards is a new student at our Knockpatrick campus. She is 7 years old and is just learning sign language! I am looking forward to seeing her come alive as she learns this new language and is able to fully communicate and express herself for the first time. From that foundation of language, she will be able to learn, grow, and thrive. What an amazing blessing!

Donovan Hibbert is an adult student in our commercial food preparation program at our Montego Bay campus. He is learning to be a certified chef. This has been a dream of his since he was only 8 years old. How incredible it is to see his dream come true.

These students are just two among hundreds that are touched everyday through this ministry.

As we close out 2019 and look ahead, we acknowledge that your support is so important to our work. Through your gifts, prayers, and the Lord’s divine intervention, amazing things will be accomplished for the Kingdom.

Your year-end giving is vital to our ministry. As you consider your contribution, we ask you to offer a life-changing gift to the ministry of CCCD.

In Christ,

Ben Beukema - President CCCD USA
